The assignment was to choose a location in Dallas and create an image using words that relate to the location in different typographic styles. I chose the Dallas Design District. The current logo for the Design District is a line of red squares so I wanted to play off the idea of squares and cubes. I also chose words and statements that come to mind when thinking about the Design District.
